Ok, here is another weird one. This is a ...a ummm, well....it is a tampon...that isn't a tampon. So weird....OK, it is a small cup that you insert. In theory, your flow gets contained in the cup for up to 12 hours, then you pull it out, dump it in the toilet, rinse and re-insert.Hey, I didn't make this one up. The one pictured is the Moon Cup, by Keeper. I think it is brilliant, just like the Sweet Pee. I just don't know if I could use it.

As far as I am concerned, I am earthy, I recycle, I take mass transit, but the environment can suffer a little, cuz I like my white thongs. I am sticking with Tampax.

Oooh I heard of the Diva cup several years ago and thought it was weird and uncomfortable, I just had this weird mental picture of the yukiness spilling inside me lol...lol i'll stick to my pearls...Tampax pearls that is...

I use this and have never leaked... can't say that for tampons, which either chafe me because I took them out too early, or leak because I waited too long! So, I'd say my thongs are safer with the mooncup. (Plus, you can't beat only having to deal with it twice a day... it's *almost* like not having a period at all!)
Well kudos to you gal! I tell ya,the thing scares me. But I have to say I have never actually tried it. Maybe one day. :)
